Charter for Compassion

The principle of compassion lies at the heart of all religious, ethical and spiritual traditions, calling us always to treat all others as we wish to be treated ourselves. Compassion impels us to work tirelessly to alleviate the suffering of our fellow creatures, to dethrone ourselves from the centre of our world and put another there, and to honour the inviolable sanctity of every single human being, treating everybody, without exception, with absolute justice, equity and respect.

Saving God's CreationMy kids turned me on to this aspect of global warming. I think this needs to be a focus of major religions around the world. We are the caretakers of God's creation and we're doing a crappy job!

Global Warming

The NodGlobal warming is the observed increase in the average temperature of the Earth's atmosphere and oceans in recent decades, and its projected continuation. In the broader sense, it is also the environmental impact of this warming on the planet.

It's consequences are scary. We all need to do more to mitigate it. I'm exploring the subject through the wiki and blog. Join me in looking into what we can do together.
