Verdant

Now there's a word you don't hear very often. Actually, it's simpler definition, green, is the rage today. So what about "verdant"?

Well you know those little announcements on NPR? The John D. and Cathrine T. MacArthur Foundation "supports creative people and effective institutions committed to building a more just, verdant, and peaceful world." Pretty neat!
