Some friends play at friendship but a true friend sticks closer than one’s nearest kin.

  1. First of all you need to know responsibility. Like when a friend asks you to help them next Saturday, and you say, "yes", you can't just pretend you forgot on Saturday. You have to go, like it or not.

  2. You also need a lot of courage to be a friend. Like if someone falls into a hole you have to have a lot of courage to help them get out!

  3. A good friend is a good neighbor. Like if someone doesn't have a lunch at school, you shold give them some of yours, even if it's a small thing like some grapes.

If you follow these three rules to becoming a good friend, everyone will like you. Just remember:

Responsibility

Courage

and

A Good Neighbor

With these you have the basics to becoming a friend.
