Once upon a time there lived a ladybug named Itsy. She had a little brother names Little Leaf. Itsy's best friends were Tulip, the butterfly and Higgy the spider. One day, Itsy received a letter from her Grandmother. It said that she wanted Itsy and her family to come over for the holidays. Itsy didn't know what to do. She had planned to spend the holidays at Higgy's house with Tulip and Higgy. But Itsy decided that since her Grandmother lived in China, she would go visit her, instead. So a week later, they set off for China. It was a very boring trip because you had to stay in your seat and you could not get up and play. A day later they got there. Itsy's Grandmother was so happy to see them. That day for dinner, they had chicken, rice and salad and for desert, lemon caterpiller cake. It was good! |
Then it was time for bed. Little Leaf slept in the guest room with Mom and Dad. Itsy got her own room upstairs. The next day, Itsy got a phone call from Tulip. She asked if she could come over to her house when she got back from China. Itsy's Mom said it was OK. A week later, they left China. Itsy's Grandmother sold her house so she could go back home to Chicago with them. Now Itsy was happy because she would never have to go to China instead of being with her friends Higgy and Tulip. The End |
