The family endures because it offers the truth of mortality and immortality within the same group. The family endures because, better than the commune, kibbutz, or classroom, it seems to individualize and socialize its children, to make us feel at the same time unique and yet joined to all humanity, accepted as is and yet challenged to grow, loved unconditionally and yet propelled by greater expectations. Only in the family can so many extremes be reconciled and synthesized. Only in the family do we have a lifetime in which to do it.

There were three boys that lived in a forest with their dad. One day their dad said to go to Idaho to get help. Their dad was sick and he needed special medicine from Idaho.

So the next day the boys packed their clothes and started hiking to Idaho. On the way, they met two Forest Rangers. The Forest Rangers asked, "Do you need help and what are your names?"

The boys said, "Our names are Austin, John, and Diego. We are going to Idaho. Can you give us a ride there?"

"Yes," said the Forest Rangers. So the boys got in the car and they all drove to Idaho.

When they got to Idaho, they went to a spacial drug store to get medicine for their dad. Once they got the medicine they had to hurry home. So they headed back to the forest.

As soon as they got back to the forest, they gave the medicine to their dad. After an hour he was no longer sick.
